Warm it up because It's getting cold!

Warm and rich tones are in, it's just like florals at spring, it's no surprise and we are starting to see people ditch the blonde for a brunette as this seasons must-have! One of those clients was Takisha's client yesterday, she fancied a change and decided that turning to the dark side was the best choice. When Lilly came in she had a golden blonde base with regrowth coming through so her colour needed a pre-pig before just applying the colour. After the hair was prepped Takisha chose a brunette tone that would suit her client and also compliment her eye colour and skin tone. Settling on a beautiful Roasted Peacan brunette het hair was transformed!

Mixing your palette.

As a salon we know that being blonde is a popular thing but it can drag you down when it just gets a bit to light. For Pauls client Debrah this was exactly the thing and she needed a change to bring her hair back to life with a touch of added sass. Paul worked with a foiling technique to break up Debrahs existing blondes with a mixture of soft brunettes and blondes to create a multi-tonal palette to compliment her skin tone and bring a soft visual texture to her locks. Mixing up your palette with multiple colours is a great way to tone down your colour and make it softer and also works as a great tall to introduce complimentary tones.

Fresh start | Fresh chop!

When Tessa's client Megan came into the salon today her hair was long and beautiful. She had been growing it out for 6 years but also kept up with her platinum colour! She fancied a change and we were more than happy to help as we love a transformation! To start Megan  sat in the chair with technician Chloe to get her hair revamped to a cool platinum without roots! After that it was transformation time and after deciding on her new length there was no going back and we have to say it looks so fresh!

Change is in the air!

Now we have not been shy about posting all the colour changes as Autumn rolls in..

Today in salon Paul was welcomed back from his time in Ibiza last week with a big colour change. When Gemma came into salon her hair was overdue for a new colour and she wanted to be daring and take a plunge of vibrancy. A great way to perk yourself and make your self feel sassier is definitely to go bold!

When growing your hair out waiting for it to finally get to a length that you like is the absolute worst.

 Luckily hair extensions are a great way to fill in the length and add thickness. Studio 58 are a brand Paul Standen-May has worked with to transform his clients and unleash their #hairgoals.  Creative Editor - Jacqui loves her hair extensions and can't live without them to fulfil her hair thickness needs and to add a little bit of length to her previously broken sides. The extensions she has are keratin bonded U-tip which can last up to 3 months in the hair when looked after well and after the initial installation are basically hassle free!

Embracing the Organic

We've been focusing a lot on colour and the introduction of the amazing Olaplex in salon this week but we've also had some beautiful clients in the salon who haven't coloured their hair at all! 

A lot  of girls have hair goals; Thick, glossy, long, beautiful hair! And we love making and creating these goals happen for our clients! On the left Paul's client had a haircut and rocked a curled glossy finish and on the right Ambers hair rocked a more matte tousled style with a split fringe. Both looks look awesome with their natural hair colour shining through so we pose the question.. is it time to go back to natural tones for fall?
