The short life.

Short hair doesn't have simplistic and you can actually do a lot with it. It can be feminine, it can be masculine, it can be androgynous so whether it's from a pixie to a tight crop you can be beautiful!

On the left we have one of Ambers clients who normally comes in with Fran, Rocking her blonde hair with a super short crop looks absolutely incredible. With an awesome blonde edge that screams Agyness Deyn when she was short, this look is full of character and style!

On the right we have Jazzy, she's come back to work at The Egg part time and is forever up for change (and if you follow us closely you will already know it!) She wanted to lift her hair and infuse her copper hair with lot's of different organic earthy tones. This technique of great for adding multiple tones to short hair is a great way visually texture a hairstyle.

Amber and Paul both work in our Lowergoat Lane salon so to book in with them give us a call on 01603 761176

Embracing the Organic

We've been focusing a lot on colour and the introduction of the amazing Olaplex in salon this week but we've also had some beautiful clients in the salon who haven't coloured their hair at all!

A lot  of girls have hair goals; Thick, glossy, long, beautiful hair! And we love making and creating these goals happen for our clients! On the left Paul's client had a haircut and rocked a curled glossy finish and on the right Ambers hair rocked a more matte tousled style with a split fringe. Both looks look awesome with their natural hair colour shining through so we pose the question.. is it time to go back to natural tones for fall?

(If you've coloured your hair and want a colour correction to go back to natural we can do that too.)

Timeless | Trendless

Within' hairdressing a lot of focus is put on cool trends and the avant garde.. But our clients are speaking a different language.

This week in the salon we have seen a lot of beautifully natural colours that empower a more understated essence of beauty. With inspirations of organic Catalonian sunlights and effortless pure Nordic blondes, the salon has embraced it's subtle and minimal element of colour which is classic and fresh!

(Colour on the Left is a natural Balyage by Paul Standen-May & Right is a cool tone seamless highlight by Takisha Rial using Wella Professional)
