Mixing your palette.

As a salon we know that being blonde is a popular thing but it can drag you down when it just gets a bit to light. For Pauls client Debrah this was exactly the thing and she needed a change to bring her hair back to life with a touch of added sass. Paul worked with a foiling technique to break up Debrahs existing blondes with a mixture of soft brunettes and blondes to create a multi-tonal palette to compliment her skin tone and bring a soft visual texture to her locks. Mixing up your palette with multiple colours is a great way to tone down your colour and make it softer and also works as a great tall to introduce complimentary tones.

If you're feeling like you might need to break up with your over lightened hair? Come see us for a complimentary consultation so we can advise you on what would work wonders with your image. Paul works in our Lowergoat Lane salon so to book to see him give us a cheeky phone call on 01603 761176 to know his availability.

Salons combined!

So today we've been seeing different styled by both salons.
We ventured down to our lovely Magdalen street salon and snapped a beautiful shot of Louises client Tracy, she had her hair coloured today to a autumnal auburn with the seasonal change happening right now we are finding it a perfected transitional shade.

On the flipside in our Lowergoat lane salon, we saw a juxtaposition to the Louise as Amber worked with natural curl on shorter hair. Her client Daisy wanted something easy to handle that had a cool edge, a side part it was as it works great on short styles and is an awesome way to add definition and interest too!

Clean and Creamy!

Sometimes your hair just needs to get to a point where it's perfectly creamy and almost edible.

When vicky came into the salon her colour was lovely but it was time for a bit of a refresh! Working with a root stretch technique Paul Standen-May kept definition where it was needed and Balyaged Vicky's mid-lengths and ends to clean up her previous blonde. This is great way to achieve lightness but also balance when lightening hair.  Using Wella Professional colour with a natural warmth as a palette he created a beautiful dirty creamy blonde which is definitely exposing itself as a new trend for A/W 15!

(Paul is working in Barcelona this week but he's back in the salon next week so to book a consultation call our Lowergoat Lane salon on 01603 761176)
