Mixing your palette.

As a salon we know that being blonde is a popular thing but it can drag you down when it just gets a bit to light. For Pauls client Debrah this was exactly the thing and she needed a change to bring her hair back to life with a touch of added sass. Paul worked with a foiling technique to break up Debrahs existing blondes with a mixture of soft brunettes and blondes to create a multi-tonal palette to compliment her skin tone and bring a soft visual texture to her locks. Mixing up your palette with multiple colours is a great way to tone down your colour and make it softer and also works as a great tall to introduce complimentary tones.

If you're feeling like you might need to break up with your over lightened hair? Come see us for a complimentary consultation so we can advise you on what would work wonders with your image. Paul works in our Lowergoat Lane salon so to book to see him give us a cheeky phone call on 01603 761176 to know his availability.

Blend Blend Blend!

Stretching out your regrowth is the new cool and Fran was queen of flawless blending yesterday in salon. When her client came into the salon she had a strong regrowth line and pre lightened ends and it needed a bit of a switch-up. With an autumnal palette of apricots, biscuits and hazelnuts  Fran set out to create a timeless but seasonal based beautiful fade.

Don't chase the sun.

The sun is setting earlier now, and you can't get those natural holiday highlight by hanging out at the beach anymore.. But don't let that stop you! This week in Salon we've seen a lot of sunlit highlights and natural lightening techniques shine through as a big request.

Katie (left) Had her hair done with Chloe today and wanted sunlit highlights with a contrast darker tone. Using a free-hand Balayage technique Chloe lifted and contrasted multiple tones to give Katie the definition she wanted with a beautiful organic palette.

Also Beth (right) was in the salon last week with technician Naomi to get her root stretch brought higher. We all know that a bit of root definition is hot right now and lifting a your grown out blonde a few inches higher is great way to maintain your style. Both colours worked with natural tones of cools, brunettes and golds to give a more kissed finish.

Natural highlights don't need to come from a holiday and you can definitely fake it with a great technician at hand. To book in with Chloe or Naomi give our Lowergoat Lane salon a call on 01603 761176.
