We don't only dress beautiful hair for women, we also do it for men too! What better way to display this would be doing a barbering show? Recently The Egg Directors travelled all the way from Norwich to Newport for The Barber Connect event where they taught on stage!
Barber Connect is an exhibition which connects Uk barbers in a real life platform to share knowledge, skill and raise the standard of mens hair. The venue is filled with seminars, demonstrations, workshops and stalls for all your barbering needs.
Creative Director Callum Standen & Senior Director Mark Blunsten attended this years event to present some vintage & modern styles to the masses and they loved it. Mark worked on creating a more traditional and classic style creating a 50's look which included perfecting fading, disconnection & blending.
Callum worked on a much more modern level with his model and showed some techniques he has acquired from recent catwalk shows. He taught the observing crowds how to cut and style creatively and how to work more visually to tailor the cut to the bespoke client. After the show, the boys did a question and answers session for followers and watchers of the demo and then set off to check out others work.
Barber Connect is a growing platform for male hairdressing and The Egg directors loved attending the event and loved working alongside others on the Mens Hair Federation stage and we can't wait for future events so keep and eye out for us!
