It's just not worth the wait!

We live in a fast paced society where having to wait is becoming less of an issue for anything. Todays post is on hair extensions which we are increasingly doing a lot more of in salon! From keratin bonds which last up to 3 months, to tape ins that last a month, to installing wefts for special events Paul Standen-May is expanding and lengthening hair left right and centre! 

The biggest issue some of our clients are facing is having an issue with breakage at the front of the hair, this is mostly caused by using to much heat on the hair or it being finer and weaker..  Extensions are a great solution to this as they reduce the heat applied to weaker areas.

Olaplex isn't just for lightening hair.

Olaplex hit the salon a few weeks back and we've been loving it to help reconstruct damaged hair as part of our colour services. When Paul sat down with his client Chloe in a consultation her hair was very damaged and she wanted to know her options.. Realistically the best bet for her was to go darker..

 Infusing his mixture with Olaplex meant that her hair would be reconstructed in the sense that the sulphur bonds that have been broken by previous colours treatment were being worked on by the product to repair the hair. The effects were incredible and she loved them too. What a transformation.
